About Creative Unravelling Retreat
Creative Unraveling is the practise of removing misconceptions that have blocked your innate creativity.
Creativity often implies being good at a particular craft. However if we take that away we see that everyone is creative by Nature.
Being in touch with this quality gives you confidence and a sense of inner enjoyment in your everyday life.
This retreat is suitable for all over the age of 18.
The programme will include art and writing sessions, meditation, yoga and breathing sessions, and periods of silence for your own reflection.
Benefits of Creative Unravelling
- Greater confidence to explore various modalities of creativity
- A fresh perspective on creativity for yourself and your life
- Relaxation and time out from your usual routine
- inspiration, enjoyment, and a feeling of being uplifted
Facilitators
Nuwa
Nuwa gained a Master of Development Studies from Victoria University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counseling from Waikato University. She went on to use this study to work with people in the social and mental development field. She also combined this experience with her many years of yoga experience in order to facilitate yoga, breathing and wellness retreats. She now co-facilitates the IAM meditation retreats at Tushita Mystery School.
Carmen
Carmen is an intuitive artist who has been naturally drawn to visual arts since a young age. She finds inspiration in Nature and her own emotions, which led her to study Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy at Mind Body Education (Australia) in 2020. Carmen realised that her passion is to create and inspire others to do that too, because why not? We are all unique and have something to say in this world. Recently, she has put energy into getting her artworks out into the world and offering commissioned artworks.
Catherine
Catherine studied creative writing at Victoria University’s Institute of Modern Letters, during which time a love of words and natural knack for articulation was discovered. Since then, she has worked as a journalist, communications specialist and international correspondent, and started her own freelancing business in 2018. Alongside enjoying the power of words and journaling, Catherine loves to explore other mediums in her own time, including music, painting, photography, collage and mosaic.
